It would help if you could tell us which Adams Co. school district (Dist. 1 - Mapleton, Dist. 12 - Thornton/Northglenn, Dist. 14 - Commerce City, Dist. 27J - Brighton, or Dist. 50 Westminster) We can help you better.

Dist. 27J - Brighton, Dist. 29J, Bennett, and Dist. 31J Strasburg are all rural areas.

In this case, there is no Adams School District in Colorado. There is an Adams County, and it is divided into several different districts (listed in earlier post). Each district has their own school board, superintendent, administration, and schools.

She could be working for the Adams BOCES program, which I am pretty sure is located in Northglenn. If she has an address of where she will work, that would help.

"A tad easier"? I don't think so. Unless if you're at a point in your career where you have headhunters coming after you unsolicited or you "know people" with connections who could get you an interview, chances are slim to none of a company relocating someone out here from the other side of the country with no experience. In most cases, out of state resumes go straight into the garbage can.

Here is a map of the Adams 12 District Boundaries.

Federal Heights is in the district, but it is on the extreme south side. Since she will be all over the district, you might want to look for a location that is in the middle of all the schools.

There are several apartment complexes around the I-25/120th Ave area that would be a lot more to your liking. Check out padmapper.com, but you likely will have to spend more than you want ($800 - $1000/month). Rent is pretty high here.
