Hi folks,

I'm wondering if anyone that lives near Colorado Studios in Stapleton can comment on the noise/traffic generated by all of the large trucks in their lot. We're considering buying a home nearby, but we're concerned about being close to those huge trucks. Thanks!

I have a friend who lives across from it and he never complains about it.

We are buillding a house just northwest of the studio, and I have never noticed any noise. I think any of the trucks in the lot don't really get used, they just sit there most of the time! I wouldn't worry about it, should not be a problem.

Are you building or buying a re-sale?

Actually, we don't know. We're considering a KB Paired Home to be built on the corner of Central Park and Verbena. I like the location within Stapleton, but worry that the lot for Colorado Studios would be an eyesore in my backyard. The builder is planning build a private courtyard between the homes and the lot, so maybe with some trees, there will be a nice buffer.

We are just getting started in our search, so everything is on the table (within our current budget).

I know that exact location and home (we will be just northwest of there on 24th dr). We considered it as well before we decided on the new town central park row. I would suggest looking at the avenue villas and boulevard rows by century communities, as well as any remaining lots for the new town central park rows. All would be similar locations, but the studio wouldn't be as big of an eye sore.

However, I would worry more about traffic on CPB then the studio eyesore....
