Hello Everyone,

I need some help . Next month I will be relocating from Las Vegas to the Denver area due to a job transfer.
I am looking for a place to live that is between where my job, located (Highlands Ranch) and Denver. I am currently looking at Centennial and Greenwood Village, are there any other cities to possibly consider?
My friend will be moving with me are we are looking for a 3bedroom house with backyard (we both have dogs) for about $1300 a month (price is estimate) does this seem reasonable?

Any information will be very much appreciated.

Default PadMapper says NO

I looked on PadMapper.
Found this at $1400 https://www.padmapper.com/show.php?t...41404&src=main
I think you will need to up your budget.

The vacancy rate for single-family houses in greater Denver is really low.

It's hard to find a single family residence for sale under $200,000 - it's even harder to find a rental.

Congrats on the job. Good luck on finding home.

Is there some reason you need to be between HR and Denver? If you go the other way from HR, to Castle Rock, you can find house rentals that are a little less expensive.

You'll find cheaper options which will be around your budget in Littleton or Englewood. I used to do the drive everyday on Santa Fe and it took me less about 20 minutes to get from Broadway/C470 to central Englewood as long as I avoided trying to do it between 5-5:45pm. Mornings were even easier, there isn't really a bad rush hour going south on Santa Fe as long as there are no accidents and it isn't snowing.

$1300 might get you a two bedroom apartment, and that's maybe? I would look around Arvada, Lakewood area myself.

Doesn't sound too convenient to Highlands Ranch!

Depending on how far south in Lakewood, it might not be so bad.

our Castle rock single family house rental for 3 bed 2.5 bath was way more than 1300.... so i would look up north. But we only have a 6 months rental so they could been charging more. luckily we are moving out next week!
