Just comparing what the money in KY would get vs the money in Toronto.

The bugs and humidity are no where near as bad as Nashville or places south of that. Meth - ffffft I'm from Iowa it's tons worse there. No idea about Heroin.

Haha this is the daft nature of some people these days. I love Wash park and don't really care for KY don't get me wrong, but you have one house that sits on 2.5 ACRES and the other sits on a lot I can spit across... I'd take the 2.5 acres for my money and have my own Wash park all to myself.

Eh. It's all relative. People pay $1,000,000 for a 1,000 sq/ft apartment in New York.

Yeah it wasn't a crack on you SkyDog- it is all relative... unless I was extremely wealthy I just can't see putting that much money into something with no tangible, appreciating land

No worries. I didn't think it was a crack at me.

As for appreciating land, 6200 sq/ft of land in Wash Park has appreciated much more than 2.5 acres in Kentucky.

Yeah, well, land doesn't mow itself. Give me a tiny lot any day! Well, I do have a tiny lot. I can mow my lawn in 12 minutes. The park across the street is great for my kids, and I don't have to mow/water it.

Who says it has to be grass? You know there is a movement called "homesteading" where people actually put the land into sustainable use... instead of impressing their neighbors with their super green grass, superior mow lines and huge water bill.

There is more potential for self sufficiency on acreage compared to tiny sqft.
