The schools are not very good in Englewood. The demographics of the neighborhood are changing though so it has a lot of potential for improvement in the future but it's not something you can count on. A lot of Englewood parents choice their kids in Littleton Public schools which at this point is easy to do and everyone I have known who has done this was able to get into the school of their choice. That could change though so again not something to count on. The Denver Waldorf School, Aspen Academy and Kent Denver aren't too far away. You can do a google maps "search nearby" and see what private schools are close.

I forgot to mention, a pocket of Englewood is in the Cherry Creek School District and the schools that this area feeds into are some of the top schools in the Cherry Creek District (Cherry Hills Elementary, Cherry Creek High). This one is in Englewood and in the Cherry Creek District. This will give you an idea of where to look in Englewood if you want to get into the Cherry Creek District. This area is nice, lots of trees. It's not as walkable as other parts of Englewood but there are still things to walk to (Mod Market, Fresh Fare, pizza, ice cream shop, etc.)

Have you looked into Golden and West Arvada?

Central Denver or Littleton/Centennial make better sense for us. It is a painful (no, maybe ridiculous?) point about the Denver housing market that two professionals making well into the six figures would have difficulty finding a home that meets what you think would be basic criteria.

Are there any upcoming infill projects that are closer-in to downtown? Curious about that.
The two workplaces are very far from each other.

Yes, they are. We currently rent in central Denver. That puts us equidistant from both of our jobs.

I was curious if there were any options near central Denver that met our criteria that we may have missed. It's looking like that may not be the case.

We sometimes go to that pizza place. It's a nice area and may be a consideration. Thanks, and thanks for the school info too!
