OK, sounds like you have a good plan. I won't bother meeting you only because you seriously have your plate full! Good luck!! I think you'll like Denver a lot.

well, you are lucky in that downtown is a nice little grid, turned a little bit though. And the Hill is a little grid too. Oh I just remembered, watch out for all of our one-way streets. And please do this, it drives me nuts. It's ok to turn left from a one way onto a one-way (unless there is sign posted, it usually says no left turns if pedestrians are present). That's the only time you can. And watch out for pedestrians and bikes. It's a big pedestrian city, so drive slow.

Haha thanks. I'll let my friend know! She's driving the rental car. Any other suggestions besides Capitol Hill to look for places?

it's the best place I can think of given your situation. And it's pretty vast.

I work one block east of the Hampton and walk to have lunch downtown nearly everyday. It takes about five minutes to walk to 16th street. From there you can take the mallride to anywhere along 16th (from Broadway to Wynkoop) for free. no problem.

I was referring to your hotel. As far as neighborhoods go, you'll prob want to live in Cap Hill...also may want to check out Uptown (north of Colfax, east of Lincoln).
