I probably should knock on wood, but I never have issues with domestic travel out of DIA. O'hare, Laguardia, Intercontinental (HOU) and Skyharbor (PHX) always have issues.

Denver: Domestic travel is a whole 'nother game. When you get outside of the country, the issues in domestic travel look like nothing. Dealing with customs and people who don't know English is very challenging. Paying their various fees, and knowing which are illegal and which aren't, another fun game.

I paid around $600 for a DIA/HON (Hawaii) direct flight on United a couple years ago. It was expensive, but nice to have a direct flight. I think it was around 7 hours to Honolulu, 6 and a half back. The Mai Tais make the flight there more enjoyable

With my luck, I would have one to many Mai Tais and cause the plane to land in L.A. just to toss me into the hands of the police.

They also have the "half way to Hawaii" game, where the pilot give you mileage, speed, wind speed, etc. information and the person who guesses the closest to the exact time you're half way there gets a Hawaiian gift basket. I've played 7 or 8 times, but never quite won I'm no mathmetician though.

Not bad. We paid $400 each to get to Montego Bay year before last. It wasn't nonstop, but a nice short layover in Atlanta. But... if you take the direct flight leaving Miami on JamaicaAir, you get all the Red Stripe you want!
