drag cowboy, and Steuben's does put itself as a higher class restaurant, meaning, extra pricey. But the gravy fries are to die for. Seriously.

Buckhorn and Racine's are excellent Denver favorites. If coming from back east you might want to consider barbecue, in which case I recommend M & D's barbecue hut and fish palace. Also Japanese, in which case I suggest Mori, which is downtown. Finally, again for someone from back east, I suggest Mexican. However, we have a million good ones and if I suggest one fights will break out. My only suggestion is to avoid Casa Bonita.

Rioja and Domo are our favorite restaurants in Denver thus far. And my wife and I are foodies, so we dont tolerate bad food.

If it's nice out and early (before the crowds), I'd do Domo.

OMG, yes...do avoid this restaurant. We made the mistake of eating there after seeing it on the food show network. The atmosphere sure lives up to the hype, but the food .

I haven't eaten there yet, but what do you all think of the Fort in Golden? That's definitely a unique restaurant for out here.

Funny, I'm a native and have never tried the Fort!!! I'm always concerned with downtown and now live up north, so it'd be quite the trek. One of these days I'm going to do it. I've heard nothing but good things about them.

Casa Bonita's a cafeteria, not a restaurant.
