What happened to the thread you started yesterday on the "Spartan Diet"? You had it deleted because right away the two responses were negative because it was jst someone who got all happy at watching the movie "300" and decided to Google "Paleo diet" and plug in what was basically a paleo diet with his Spartan Warrior nonsense and try to sell it. It was hilarious.
I think its great that you have such an interest in health, but really, I suggest you do your due diligence and research things first before your read some article or the back of a book you find before you start a thread on it here.

Before you all jump in like a bunch of rabid maniacs, ask yourself if you *really* know what you are doing. Chances are you don't.
It is also called the Paleo diet (I believe). It works very well for me and seems to be much more in tune with my metabolism and natural rhythms. It's a valid diet, but it's not for everyone.

It's not quite the same as Paleo but close. There is no consumption of protein during the day and no combining of protein with carbs to "get to the Zone"; I've discontinued eating hypocritical little "meals" during the day to keep my body from "breaking down". The WD is based on a daily cycle of undereating during the day and overeating at night. It's pathetically easy to do and the happiest "way" of eating I've been on since I was a teen.....just utterly love it.
Some of you need to chill and not be so cranky that I continually bring things to this board that none of you have ever heard of or considered.
A lot of people love it apparently, it has a lot of good reviews on Amazon.com. These reviews btw are from 8 years ago. The Warrior Diet is easily one of the healthiest/best diets in the world yet no one on here or many other boards has ever heard of it, instead it's all this Atkins crap.

And unless you're training first thing in the morning, that is a near sure fire way to go right into a catabolic state.

You don't bring anything to the board that the educated members haven't already heard of. You simply bring up fad diets that we've discredited years ago.
I am not smart enough to worry about so-called scientific "facts" or "research".
