I have moved into an apratment from a house. I have a husky. She is big so she stays with my aunt because she needs a fenced in yard. But I also have a poodle that prefers the indoor. So I think it depends on your pet and situation. I think it is a general statement to say all dog owners should have a fenced in backyard and house.
It makes me sick thinking of all the apartment living puppies out there. If only they had their own yard to squat on, all to themselves and their brothers and sisters if their owner has more than than one dog.
There are many people that could afford to rent a house or buy a house but instead they rent or purchase an apartment/condo. These people should not own dogs. They should only be allowed to have stray cats.
Just like most people are against humans having babies if they can't provide for them, same should go for humans having dogs. If you got no yard for them, get a stupid cat.
You know, some days the depth of some people's ignorance truly astounds me. smh.............
Do you ever want to take someone's face gentle in your hands, look them directly in the eyes, begin shaking them and say, "Are YOU in there?"
(Note: Generally reserved for a teenager that does a "bonehead" mistake, that you absolutely know they know better...but can be applied at anytime in life when necessary. You just pray they have grown out of it by adulthood!!!)

Wouldn't have guessed Doberman either. It makes sense to me though. The ones I know like nothing better than to be stuck to their owner like velcro.
