Ran across this which was labeled Beagle's First Bark which made me think he was pretty big for his first bark. don't most puppies bar when they are really little and still with their Mom?
My shelties & collies barked at 4-5 weeks! That also when I tell them Quiet LOL Lady [pap] was quiet for months but her bro at 4 months barked all the time we were at the breeders ugh! I think Ladys 1st true bark was around 8 months!
My Frenchie didn't bark until he was almost a year old...he made all kinds of other noises but no barks. Living with three other female dogs, maybe he thought they made enough noise already.
ive had puppies find their "bark (though it sounds more like a weird squeek) as young as 3 weeks, others go 6-8 months before finding it...though in my experience when they find it LATER in life they use it more LOL!

I have to say that he's still the quietest dog in the house. One of my female Boston Terriers is the Queen of Barking. LOL
Oh, so cute! I could watch that all day. Our puppy barked at 9 weeks it was such a cute cartoon bark. At four months she has a grown up bark. The cartoon bark only lasted 2 or three weeks.
When I adopted Phoenix she was two, and while playing at the humane society with her she let out this " Harf" sort of bark which sounded like a debarked dogs bark so I asked them if they knew if she had been debarked. Phoenix was born deaf ....the reply I got was " Oh she is deaf so never learned how to bark" I stood there thinking do they think momma dog sits the pups down and gives barking lessons??? " OK Spot it is not aaaarrrooof it is Woof. Listen to your sister as she has got it right woof"
Later when she had to be put under I had the vet look and he said he too thinks she had been debarked... she also tended to choke on food or water because of it.
As a side note when I fostered. transported the 5 deaf homozygous Aussie pups belive me even at their you age they could bark and make ALOT of noises so that too shoots down the HS theory that it was her deafness. There is that ceratin quality to a debarked dogs bark and she had it. Harf harf harf!
