I got a 10 week old Westie puppy on Wednesday afternoon. He urinated Wednesday night and Thursday mid-day, when he also had a healthy bowel movement. It is now Friday morning and he hasn't urinated any more than I mentioned. He has had food and water available at all times and has had some of both.

Should I be concerned? It seems like less activity than I would have thought.

Are you sure he's not going somewhere in the house?

Unless you essentially have him tied to you to know what he's doing/where he's at 24/7 he could be going anywhere.

If you are positive he's not urinating more than that, I would call the vet. That does seem like not enough to me.

Does he look in discomfort ? Does he feel swollen or stuffed ? If not I would watch where you step ...

He is most likely going somewhere if you dont have him confined to a small little spot.

+1 for him going somewhere and you just don't know about it. Smell around in his typical spots and see if he's eliminated. If you don't smell/see/feel anything and he's still not appearing to eliminate, take him to the vet.
