I use Advantix II for them and haven't had any problems.
However, I'm a little concerned about the dosage for my Shiba Inu...
Advantix for Small Dogs - 4 to 10 lbs - 0.4 ML
Advantix for Medium Dogs - 11 to 20 lbs - 1.0 ML
Advantix for Large Dogs - 21 to 55 lbs - 2.5 ML
Since my Shiba Inu is at the very bottom of the Large Dog dosage, I feel like it's too much for her body. Does anyone think 1 ML is enough? This has nothing to do with cost, I spend $200 per month in just their food, I just want whats best for their long-term health.
Yes, you might want to go with the lower dose and see if that works. I use this all the time and have learned you don't need to be exact with the pour on type meds. Now the pills like the Nexguard, triflectis etc. I would be a lot more careful.
