Our Harley doesn't watch TV, but she does like Country Music-lol. When we leave for anything longer than an hour we put the country music channel on FUSE and she won't move till we come home again. When we don't put it on, she is right by the door when we walk in.

Mine (a 5 month old puppy) will sometimes look at the tv. One day we were watching Chimp Eden and the chimps were making a hooting noise and the puppy seemed fascinated.

Split down the middle for us. One does, one doesn't. Simba (corgi-sheltie mix) will watch anything if it has an animal on it (especially other dogs, but he'll be intrigued by any animal). He loves agility competitions in particular. Copper (mini longhaired doxie) couldn't care less about TV.

Does my dog watch TV? Ummmmm.... my dog has his own video collection. Yep, he's a TV watcher. He loves dog movies. I don't buy movies for myself, because I usually only watch a movie once and that's it, but Shiloh gets movies for Christmas and has built up a nice doggie movie collection.

Last night he watched the new TV show "Greatest American Dog". I guess we'll be watching it every week, because he liked it. Is he spoiled or what?

Of our 3 collies, only Marli watches TV. She did enjoy "Greatest American Dog" last night. She is also partial to Wisconsin Badger hockey. The other two collies pay no attention at all.

I'm watching Flipping Out as I type this, and a little earlier one of the cast members was talking to one of the dogs named "Casey" and my own Casey took notice of that - "hey, they're calling my name on tv!"

My other female dog loves to see puppies on tv and will walk up to the tv. She had pups at one time and I'm afraid someone took her pups from her prior to dumping her on the street . I think she remembers her pups .

But the ones who really like tv are the parrots! They especially like sitcoms like King of Queens - they laugh at all the appropriate times - even before the show's canned laughter - it's really funny watching tv with them .
