What do you think of them? Does your dog ride in one? I am asking because my husband and I just returned home from vacation at the beach and our dog is worn out from all the walking on the beach and the boardwalk we did the past five days. She's in good shape, normal weight, but she's a little thing (about 17 lbs). She isn't used to being out and about as much as she has been these past several days. We saw a few dogs on the boardwalk riding in strollers and thought it was cute. Now that we're home, we t (well, me more than her daddy) think a stroller would be a good idea.

What is your opinion of dogs riding in a stroller. Does it make them seem too much like a baby?

My 15 lbs dog used to get tired on hikes, but after about a month of regular hikes, he's all about being ahead and can finish them with ease. Personally I take my pack on walks to wear them out, a stroller would defeat that purpose.

Weird voice saying "Awkward"!

If my wife wanted to get our dog a stroller (Chester is a hair over 50 Lbs so it would be a fight to keep him in there anyway), I would tell her to enjoy the walk with him and not with me... LOL, Do as you wish though, it is your dog.

Personally, I find them ridiculas. A dog is a dog - not a human baby.

actually, i think it would be indicative of an owner who wanted their pal along with them, even if it was too long a walk for the pal........ someone who values that companionship in spite of what some others may think.....

They're not ridiculous for us. I would LOVE one. Central Park is about a mile from home and my pug can walk there, walk through the park but can't quite make it home. He's not a young thing and there are moments on the way home that I would LOVE to have a stroller for him.

I got one! I got mine on Ebay two years ago, actually met the guy a half hour from my house and he gave me 50 bucks off the price and my choice of color!
Do I ever use it? No!
I used to power walk and took my Chi in it with me maybe 4 times....that was it! Shame, because it is one of those really nice ones with one wheel in the front and looks like a real baby stroller.
I always said I would take him to the Mall in it but I have yet to go to a Mall here.
My little guy would need one on a long walk since he is only 8lbs.

This is the new model of mine. This is good price with free shipping. I paid 150 for mine. They list for over 200. It is a very well made stroller. Not junky.
