i love both musicians, but this seems like a terrible idea, honestly.

Lou Reed and Laurie Anderson take a walkies on the wild side | Music | guardian.co.uk

After decades of making music that many people don't quite understand, Lou Reed and Laurie Anderson have decided to forgo human comprehension altogether. The couple have announced Music for Dogs, a "high-frequency concert" catering almost exclusively to man's best friend.

i just think that just because dogs CAN hear sounds that are high frequency, it doesn't mean they'd really WANT to!

neat idea in theory, not so much in practice.

I absolutely agree with you that it's a BAD idea.

In truth, it could be torture for the dogs... no way to know how it really effects them.

I've always stayed away from those high frequency mouse things that you plug into your outlets for that same reason.

I have this visual of dogs laying on the floor with their paws over their ears!
