Right now I drive to/from work (12 miles each way), but other than that I either walk, ride a bike or take public transit to go to the grocery store/dry cleaners/shopping/hanging out with friends.

I live in a city and work in the suburbs, so I have to drive to work. If gas prices keep going up I will start looking for a job in the city so I don't have to drive to work at all.

I also just got my motorcycle license, and am seriously considering giving up my car for a 250cc bike that gets 80+ mpg.

With my wife and I it did not take the economy to go bad fur us to change driving habits. All the tips we read about economizing that includes fuel consumption were old news for us. We now look around people complaining how bad it is and cutting corners. They should have been doing that before. Actually, in general I do not see people making sacrifices needed based on how much they complain about the economy. In my opinion they get what they deserve, at least many of them, take care.

Gasoline supplies are beginning to tighten as of 4/29/11 causing prices to rise rapidly. Indicators are all pointing to petrol shortages.......

Now will you change your driving habits?
