That's disgusting! The top 10% have made sure they can have their,yachts, 3 or 4 beach homes, while their employees struggle to make ends meet. Once greed took over in this country back in the 80's it's been downhill for the majority of Americans ever since.

There is no pile of money that the rich are hoarding and won't let you have any of it.

Even though every period of enormous immigration in this country's history coincidentally happened to be the periods of largest economic growth.
This whole "immigration ruins the economy" thing is played out and has been proven fallacious by anyone with even a 1st grade level of economic understanding time and time again.
Sure it might not effect the economy but lets ignore all those American middle class jobs that disappeared to illegals now living here. Not to mention the stagnate wages for the last 20 yrs., due to these same illegals flooding the work force. Keep those eyes closed to the dwindling middle class.
There's some people out there making $30K who live comfortably... meanwhile others who make double or triple that amount struggle.
I find this hard to believe. Where I live, it's impossible to live on 30k unless you have no car, are single, live with roommates, and have 0 discretionary income.

Please review Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, Denmark and other Nordic Regional Countries. Not only is their standard of living higher, their life expectancy is longer and their earning and saving rates are astronomical compared to ours in the average US household.
Their employment standards are different and their employment is protected in ways that ours is not.
You are falsely comparing those Nordic region countries to the US.
They are not comparable and cannot be used intelligently as a model for the United States. Much smaller populations in each country and they are using their natural resources to support their programs/life styles.
That isn't feasible in the US with our population and size. Nice try though.

There are many places. See, as usual, you cannot fathom anything outside of your tiny little existence. There's a whole big world out there.
Lot's of places where family can live comfortably on $50k in Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas, South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Oklahoma, Texas. Just to name a few.
sure, they aren't going to be in the metro areas of those places but to make broad statements like you do on virtually every topic shows your detachment from reality.

no it's a terrible post because it ignores Purchasing Power Parity. $34k in US does not make one global elite under US COL. .
Peasants,,the backbone of every nation.....Also the same people that topple governments,as history has shown.
When you see riots,they never contain people of comfortable means..So either idiots are poor or well to do people are idiots for ignoring the poor folks conditions....Either way most people are idiots and that is shown threw out history by overthrows,riots and wars...
