I've been very fortunate and paid lots of taxes over the years. However, I just checked and it turns out I will have to pay very little now...even if I have good income. This is, of course, wrong in an era where that money is being given to me out of debt and deficit.

But, hey, who am I to argue with the will of the American people who cheer tax cuts out of debt and deficit? I'd rather pay more and have a balanced budget, universal health care, etc.
If there is anything (besides War) that won't work with a balanced budget it is UHC. That will require huge amounts of new money moving forward.

More than $8 of every $10 of wealth created last year went to the richest 1%.
That's according to a new report from Oxfam International, which estimates that the bottom 50% of the world's population saw no increase in wealth.
That's a hot air stat vis a vis Americans. The top 1% worldwide relative to USD income = ~$32,500 and up.

Before you embark on your economic jihad get your numbers straight. In the US the top 1% hold about 38% of all wealth.

Everyone, rich and poor alike, pays the exact same rate on the same type and quantity of income.

I didn't grab anything. The stuff kinda showed up in my wealth accounts. FWIW, we are going to get taxed on the increased property valuations.
