I had a microwave at work and my Lean Cuisine lunches never cost me more than $2.

I refused to eat out because the restaurants anyone would go to were too expensive to too fatty foods.

Husband used to spend around $6-7 at the company cafeteria.

We have a cafeteria at work..decent food too. I'd say $3.50-$4.00/day..max $16/week (I work home Fridays). I only go out with the gang at work for B-day lunches or goodbye lunches.

I work/travel 3-4 days at a time and spend around $15-$20. That's 3 meals/day for 3-4 days. So under $2/meal.

$0.00

I live a bock from my job and I come home for lunch. I also don't have a car.

It's a bare bones lifestyle, but cheap.

You're still spending money however, unless you get that food for free. That is what my calculation is based upon.

I usually take dinner leftovers for lunch. $2 a day sounds about right.

I spend about $5-$7 a day, so about $25-$30 a week. I tried eating frozen food but I just can't eat that every day. Also, its good to walk outside vs. eating at your desk or employee cafeteria.

Usually $6 in the company cafeteria gets me a sandwich and cup of soup. Maybe once or twice a month, a group of us will go out to a diner-type place and I'll spend $10. Sometimes the boss buys.
