The very best schools in NJ are run on the county level and despite having some of the most elaborate programs they keep the per pupil down by sharing services.

If I had my way we would have county wide schools and far more thematic ones.

I wonder if having say directional county school districts would be the way to go for bigger counties. There has been talk about this in my county, but it hasn't been anything that is too serious. right now.

It seems like it depends on the school district, as there are some pros and cons to county and community/city/town/area school districts.
