Those days spent as a "complete waste of time" are the days that you will remember fondly.

Kicking off in school, speaking to your teacher as though they are human for the first time all year, laughing with your friends on some ghastly excursion or other...

Miss those and you miss half the point of Education, which is not just about cramming one's head with facts.
