Posted this in the general NYC section, and got no response, so I will try here...
How do you feel about your work and your jobs? Do you enjoy teaching in the city? I am considering getting my MA to go into teaching, but would like to get a feel for what it's like (would most likely try to get a position in a public school in NYC.) I have some limited experience working in public schools with elementary aged children, but would prefer teaching high school. Am also considering programs like NYC Teaching Fellows, and similar ones.
Any feedback or advice would be appreciated - thanks!
