I"d tell them to learn general maintenance on a big home, and use their school loans to get a 3rd world spouse who can make big money here, then use that money to guy big old houses, and turn them into cheap, small rooms for many people to rent by the week. 2-3 such places,. bought with GI loans (by the guys who manage them for you) and you are retired on that (very small) amount of invested income. :-) Leave the rat race for people who don't know any better.

I saw this interview last week from the dirty jobs guy, Mike Rowe. Very interesting. 3 million jobs unfilled in the trades...
