Since the liberal, Obama Lovers on this forum seldom post any negative statistics on their Savior .. I thought I'd help them out .. "Just this once"!

Take note: Gallup is a "Left Leaning" pollster!
(Just imagine what the REAL numbers are)

Also note .. We don't EVEN have to have a named candidate to be in the lead!

"Republican Candidate" Extends Lead vs. Obama to 47% to 39%

Obama's trailed "any Republican" for quite a while. The problem for the GOP is, as soon as the pollster NAMES a Republican candidate, Obama beats him/her pretty handily (I think Romney is the most competative).

The article you linked goes on to say that, at this stage in Reagan's first term, with the economy in the tank, Mondale led the Gipper in the polls. And we all know how that turned out.

Bottom line, if the economy shows signs of improving, Obama will cruise to re-election. If it doesn't, he'll be in a tough race against a reasonably electable GOPer (*cough not Bachmann, Palin, Cain, Paul or Santorom cough*)

1. Gallup is not a left leaning pollster.

2 In the history of polling any or the generic party candidate pretty much always does better than the names candidates, and we see this when every time a poll is done with a named candidate Obama leads.

Obama received only 53% of the vote vs McLame and a totally dispirited Republican party.

This was “The Ghost” Obama who embodied the hopes and dreams of an entire universe, pumped to the max by a fervent MSM! (PRAVDA media to you Liberals)

In 2012 the real Obama has to run.

Even Goolsbee (Obama's head of economic council to you Liberals) is predicting over 8% unemployment by election time, so you can imagine what it will Really be.

Add in recurring $1.5 trillion deficits, $4 gas, and skyrocketing food prices and ..He's Toast!.

And before you say it .. There is NO indication that Obama will ever change his country/economy destroying ways so .. No it isn't going to get any better .. Not by 2012!

None of the GOP's "problems" are as big of a problem as Obama's record of failure after failure.

What's amazing to me about the poll is that almost 40% of the people would ***still*** vote for the incompetent twit Obama DESPITE all the evidence that he's in over his head and a miserable failure. Amazing!

"the results more than a year ahead of the election do not have a large degree of predictive ability, and underscore that things can change greatly in the final year or more before an election."

Good luck with your July 14, 2011 poll against a non-candidate.

The one thing Obama has proven good at is electing Republicans, so maybe we should give him another term...
