Tom Beaumont from the associated press is commentating and he just lied about the debate when asked if the debate changed anything and he answered, "No not really. Romney is the one to beat". What a liar. All the polls showed that Ron Paul beat the pants off of everyone in that debate.

Does the Iowa Straw Poll really have much value? Here are poll results from 2007:
Romney Wins Straw Poll - NYTimes.com

Romney won. John McCain received less than 1% of the votes.

Bachman is saying people can't get in to see Randy Travis until after they have registered (and voted for her). Too bad she has to try to bribe people to vote for her. I wonder how many will do that just to see the concert?

Before that G.W. Bush won in IOWA.

Well McCain was the Bilderberg hand selected candidate. Don't know if he had a big presence in Ames. Perry wants people to write in his name. He isn't even there. I think it can't hurt if you win the Iowa straw poll. What it does do is help those with less than desirable support decide whether to continue campaigning or throw in the towel (like it sounds like Pawlenty will do if he doesn't end up in the top three).

They are saying that they don't think Palin will run because she hasn't even begun to do any of the preliminary work they all have to do. They say she will support Perry which shows what a flip flopper she is. She had said she was a Ron Paul supporter before McCain asked her to be his running mate.

for those who didn't check this out: it appears FOX may also carry it. They are broadcasing from Iowa..

I don't know why so many thought Perry would be speaking at the same time as Paul; Perry was speaking at 12:00 not 1pm. Remember, there is a time difference?

One of my friends (a Ron Paul supporter) is at this today. I wish that I could be there!

The better question is do you have to go see Randy Travis if you vote for her? If that were the case, Travis would drive away more votes than he would attract. That cowboy was never that good, and he's well past his prime.
