We put an end to the slaughter of Iraqi's by Saddam. Since we just completed the withdrawal of our troops from Iraq, Iran will rush in to fill the void and restart the slaughter of Iraqi's.
This will give us an excuse to bomb Iraq and destroy her nuclear ambitions.

We were already in Iraq and Afghanistan. Very few forces were sent to Libya by Obama - and the job was accomplished, no?
If Bush can get re-elected for starting and maintaining a war in two countries, Obama can definitely get re-elected for ending said war, and taking out Bin Laden and Gaddafi without a great loss of American life.
Or we could have done as Ron Paul advised in 2008: Just leave.
In the case of Iraq, would it have really been so terrible? In the case of Afghanistan, fine go kill Bin Laden, then get out. But get out already!
If Bush gets tried, judged and found guilty by the American people for starting the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, how on earth can the same people actually celebrate Obama's aggressive actions in Libya? If you succeed quickly, then war is a a wonderful thing, but if it's a long drawn out affair, it's evil?
Obama didn't just pick up where Bush left off, he intensified our attacks in both countries. The fact that he was more than happy to intervene in Libya is just added proof that he's a warmonger, ready and willing to throw US troops into the fray at the slightest whim. Democrats need to figure out what their real identity is: Warmongers or agents of love and peace. The evidence does not support them being the latter.
I see the article in the WA Times but nothing else. I will believe it when I see it, because she has not shown interest previously despite every opportunity. Maybe, hopefully, she realized that wiping the noses of Standford brats was not quite what she remembered.
If she does want it, the slot is all hers.
