Santorum has picked up some key endorsements in Iowa that helped Huckabee win the Iowa caucus in 08: Bob Vander Plaats, the head of the Family Leader, and Chuck Hurley, the president of the Iowa Family Policy Center. According to the latest Rasmussen poll, he has gone from 6% support to 10% in just six days. Now that the Republican party is due to pick another "not Romney" can Santorum win Iowa and use this momentum to earn significant support nationwide?
Kinda hilarious how that's working out for the GOP. They've cycled through three "not Romney" candidates already, all who turned out to be terrible!!
Now they have a two horse race in the works between Ron Paul and Mitt Romney -- both of whom a huge portion of the GOP hates (obviously for different reasons).
Maybe the GOP voters need to learn not to hate so much. It'd do them good. Maybe a little open-mindedness now and again ... but that's just crazy talk!!
I knew the extreme religious crowd wouldn't be able to get behind Romney or Paul.
Honestly, though, we all know Santorum doesn't have a shot in hell. This is really irrelevant.
