Notice how John King slumps down in his seat as Newt browbeats him and the crowd cheers.
John King is one of the true conservatives at CNN, and he shrank and accept the attacks without defending himself, his employer and the relevance of the question. He belongs on Fox News ... who, today, called him a "CNN Liberal." If King's a liberal than that crowd at Fox are relatives of Adolf Hitler.
Watching Newt as John King asked the question, Newt nodded to John K. as the question was asked which gives the perception - continue. Then Newt went off on John. Cognitive dissonance here. either a normal person would be simmering while the question is being asked just waiting to launch or he would be looking kindly and nodding to answer, in a casual way something more peaceable. But not both.
So I think Newt had his response in his pocket and fully expected the question to come up and he may have played John King a little to make a better 'explosion'
Yep the impeachment for Bill Clinton for lying to investigators not for the act of getting a BJ in the oval office by an 18 year old intern and using his cigar as a sex toy on her while Hillary was in the garden.
He never should have been investigated in the first place.
How little you really know about the south, I wonder if you have ever even visited that region. Last I checked there were toothless rednecks living in every single region of the country, certainly in states like Iowa and Kansas as well as parts of Ca, AZ, Co, NM etc. If you think southerners are all rednecks and are toothless and bigotted, you must think everyone in the major cities like Detroit and Chicago are inner city, blacks, on welfare, and criminals. I am sure you don't really think this, but generalizing about any region is not terrible bright or well informed.
The question should not have been asked, it had nothing to do with the debates or the questions most of us want answers to before we make our choice. Just because the story might have been the hot news to those who love gossip and trash stories does not mean the majority of intelligent people really like to see a jounelist lower themselves to John Kings level.
Grew up in the south. I'm qualified to make that observation, and the criticisms have merit.
The fraud of the impeachment scandal was the impeachment itself. There never should have been an investigation into Bill Clinton's sexual misconduct in Arkansas. The whole thing was an orchestrated attempt by desperate colostomy bag-headed republi-twits to overturn an election that they lost by making up whatever excuse they could. Typical republican party tricks. Try to smear the other guy and convince the electorate that their the part of moral superiority; and if that doesn't work, then just overturn the election using whatever means exist, including everything from a bogus 'sexual harassment' charge to birth certificate nonsense.
