No you made a thread clutching your pearls and asking for your fainting couch about Santorum's robocall asking Democrats to crossover vote, wailing and moaning about how this is the end of democracy as we know it, then when it was pointed out your boy Mittens did the exact same thing, you abandoned ship. Ergo, you got called out. And once again, thanks for the unnecessary snark and condescension, since that's apparently your only method of reply when someone dares criticize you or Mitt.

They beauty in this is that Mitt Romney can use it to advantage in future races in the primary. Santorum, Michael Moore and the DNC all suggesting the exact same thing...wow speaks volumes doesn't it? Also, Santorum's criticism of Romney being against the auto bailouts is total hypocrisy since he was against them also. Santorum is an idiot.
Santorum's motivation should be to win the primary by getting as many votes as he can. Whatever Muchael Moore or whoever is doing, their motivation isn't to get Santorum elected. It's clearly not the "exact same thing" unless you are trying to defend Romney's stupidity here.

All I'm saying is Romney consistently does better in states with closed primaries. Even if one looks at NH exit polls, you will see Romney would have had a much larger victory if it weren't for independents and Democrats.
If Rick Santorum wants to hone his campaign message to appeal to Democrats, that's fine. If he's going to make robo-calls, knowing full well he's encouraging people who hate him to vote for him just because they happen to think he's less electable, I think it's a dirty trick. It's not illegal, and it's not the first dirty trick played in a campaign. That's, unfortunately, what politics is. If those individual Democrats wanted to be strategic, that's fine. I don't think it will be hard for the average person to see a difference between the Santorum campaign (in conjunction with the liberal establishment, no less) pushing people to vote in another party's primary solely to vote against a certain candidate (his robo-calls were talking about voting against Mitt Romney, and the only justification they provided for voting for Santorum is that it would be against Romney) and individual voters choosing of their own volition whether or not to vote in another primary. It's not even like Santorum was trying to appeal to Democrats, he was just telling them to vote against Mitt Romney, the obvious implication being that Democrats would think Romney is the stronger candidate (Though Santorum would obviously disagree, he's still well aware that's what the typical Democrat thinks). If you don't think that's dirty politics, then you are entitled to your opinion.

No politician has ever won with a completely clean campaign. It's how the game works.

All I can say to the description of this poster's reaction is--LOL! You captured it perfectly. It's the typical go-to response whenever anyone criticizes Romney.

.

I really could care less what you think since you are vitually never right about much of anything and this stunt didn't even work. It will actually cause Santorum some backlash from Republicans who might have voted for him.
