Again, Mormonism is not a cult.

He wouldn't if he could, but he wouldn't be able to because Warren Jeffs has been prosecuted and convicted of state crimes, not federal crimes. Presidents can't pardon people convicted of state crimes. At least learn the basics about our legal system before making asinine comments like that one so that your absurd assertions correspond with something he could actually do if he is elected president.

Romney

Quote:
White evangelical Protestants – a key element of the GOP electoral base – are more inclined than the public as a whole to view Mormonism as a non-Christian faith. And this view is linked to opinions about Romney: Republicans who say Mormonism is not a Christian religion are less likely to support Romney for the GOP nomination and offer a less favorable assessment of him generally. But they seem prepared to overwhelmingly back him in a run against Obama in the general election.

Not really.
The ONLY difference is whether someone is talking about THEIR religion - or SOMEONE ELSE'S

no its an excuse the reason why mitt is not winning the south is because he can not
connect with voters who make less than 100k according to exit polls.

if obama can win small town white voters in iowa and Indiana. Mitt should be able
to win catholics and evangelinicals.

Hmmm, lets see. he changes positions like a baby with diarrhea changes diapers. He and his wife are so wealthy that neither one can see any difference between going to a NASCAR even and owning a NASCAR team. He attacks anyone that comes close to him in the polls like a pit bull guarding a porkchop. He has to payback all of those extremely wealthy people who are financing him in some fashion.

As far as the southern Ecs are concerned, after he wins the nomination they wil have to make a choice as to who do they dislike more, the black guy or the mormon

lol...How many conservatives do you know?

The vast majority eh? Not saying much from the diminished pool of enthusiasm...
