I have respect for Paul but let's be honest, there is no way in hell he stands any chance against the right wing machine and the superpacs that are pumping absurd amounts of cash into their campaigns, and a right wing propaganda machine that smears him and programs their minions not to support him. Not to mention as a libertarian, his views don't sit with a large part of the voting public.
Paul would need massive multimillion dollar donors and to run as a third party candidate to stand any chance.

Yep. But do you really think it will matter come the convention? You really think the establishment is going to let him win? I mean they turned the lights off in 2008 when he was winning in Nevada for christs sakes. This time around they are just turning to voter fraud.

There really is no conspiracy against Paul. He's just an unpopular candidate whose views are far outside the Republican mainstream. Libertarians make up a small portion of the GOP, most are religious nutters. Paul should do well with the type of Republicans who vote Romney: wealthier moderates who want low taxes. I'm not exactly sure why he hasn't caught on with the country club crowd, my guess is they don't see him as a viable winner who could beat Obama. He has a tin ear for politics and is way too much a gaffe machine.

I do suspect there was a conspiracy against Gary Johnson though. He was a 2 term governor of a state and he was never invited to debates yet Herman Cain, who never held any office, was invited to every single debate. I think Cain was included for tokenism but I do suspect some in the GOP conspired to marginalize Johnson.

There will always be a 'conspiracy' against anyone who is not a kook able to be ringmaster of his own media circus. Having to choose between asshats like Obama and Santorum keeps everyone riled up, polarized, and ensures nothing important gets done.

we can respond with or without watching any video: most are bogus anyway. As for a conspircy: sure, just like the one agaist Newt and before that: Perry or let;s go back to Cain, and Daniels or how about Palin? We can go on and on.Oh, and I forgot the conspiracy against Mazzo tonight: that is why they just lost in the first round and I had them going to the championship. Oh my, I think I will email the March madness organization and demand they review a few of the plays.
