I suspect you'l find most of the potheads over among Gary Johnson's supporters.

Were the above poster being intellectually honest he would have pointed out that ,ost of Ron Paul's supporters are fiscal conservatives and believe that the social issues should, as provided in the US Constitution, be left to the states to decide.

Did anybody else notice this poll: Rasmussen has Obama-Paul in a dead heat at 42-42. And is not all that far off from what other pollsters have. RCP avg is Obama over Paul, 47-40.

RealClearPolitics - Election 2012 - General Election: Paul vs. Obama

Obviously this is just a hypothetical matchup and not really of direct significance. But I think it does underscore the weakness of Obama when he can't even overpower a Ron Paul. No slight towards Paul intended, and I would vote for him if I could. But the reality is that the libertarian ideas are out of the mainstream right now; their prez candidates routinely get under 1 pct of the vote. Bob Barr. likely the strongest L candidate in my lifetime, got .4 pct.

Good observation, wutitiz and lifelongMOgal, about the polls that continue to be taken comparing Ron Paul and Obama. Why are they even bothering if Paul is such a non issue and Romney has it all "locked" up?

You know why? Because Paul and Obama are both so much better than romney. He has his core of bigots that will vote not for him but against the one. Trust me no one like romny. Even here in bigotsville I have seen no bumper stickers for him. I see more Obama stickers than romney and thats saying something here in bigotsville

Based on how Romney's been doing in the polls, it appears Paul takes very few voters from him at all.
Ever wonder who PAYS for the polls? Just look up Rasmussen and you'll find that Scott Rasmussen was a PAID consultant to Bush (and probably is to Romney or Goldman Sachs--same difference). I doubt a presidential candidate or anyone for that matter would bother hiring them unless the results were what they wanted.

No. That was a stupid question. I'm sure a question like that would never enter the minds of the likes of yourself, dixiegirl, slackjaw,silas777 and Trampass who seem to take everything the MSM dishes out at face value.

Romney's delegate count keeps going down as Ron Paul is winning more delegates.

I also love in south Carolina......and with your negative comments, I gladly hope you find another place to reside!

I see Romney stickers all over town. Lots. Bigots? That is your opinion. Mine is that Obama has his core of idiots. Those dumb as*es will believe any lie that spews from his mouth while holding out their hands for their entitlements. Sickening.

Romney is going to make an excellent president! and I bet he won't blame Obama like a petulant child throughout his term....he wil make positive changes. Bye bye to the Obama blame and shame regime.
