I agree the RNC is boring, and that is especially true now with Romney at the helm.
Romney is a business guy and they are typically boring.
If I wanted exciting I would support Katy Perry for President.
I didn't watch the DNC tonight, but I watched last night.
It's fun to see the brain dead liberals cheer for a party and politicians who condemn the actions of Bush and Republicans while seeming to be completely ignorant of the creeps in their own ranks who do far worse things than Republicans ever dreamed of doing.
It typically takes the form of a verbal drive-by included in a larger speech that doesn't give the liberal listener time to ask, "Is that actually true?"
Bush gets hammered for deregulation of the Banks and Wall Street at these events, but Bush really never deregulated anything.
Let that sink in.
Yes, you've been lied to.
In fact, it was Bush, along with several key Republicans and TS Snow, who tried to rein in the out of control GSEs.
Clinton repealed Glass-Steigal, required the GSEs to buy up CRA loans that they bundled into toxic CDOs and deliberately left derivatives unregulated on the advice of Rubin, Raines and Summers (see Working Group).
It was Clinton again who eagerly inked NAFTA after the Democratic Senate ratified it and lobbied for and signed the 2000 China Trade Act.
Never the less liberals clap like trained seals when the same Bill Clinton blames Bush for a lack of regulatory control over the banks and Wall Street or blames Republicans for outsourcing jobs to China.
You can't make this crap up and, if nothing else, it's fun to watch.
