Even if Romney manages to get through the next six weeks without eating his foot a few dozen more times--and going by historical data the odds are very much against that--there appear to still be more of these damning videos which will be doled out over the next month and a half. All the money in the world can't keep voters from hearing what Romney REALLY thinks of the very people wants votes from, and all the negative ads he can produce won't mute those words. Romney is the best weapon the Democrats have in this election.

LOL....have any evidence of that? I've read they are mainly middle aged and have at least some college education. I haven't read anything about their income, whether they pay taxes, whether they are on government programs, etc., but if their age and education levels are what I have read, it is doubtful that they are on welfare or don't pay taxes.

BTW - Romney didn't call anyone a freeloader in his comments.

It's Obama's fault that he blew through so much $$$ and tried to purchase the election early on. Team Obama will not be able to purchase the election after all...

So...what are you saying? That Obama won't be able to purchase the election, but Romney will?

And, you think that's something to crow about?

Judging from the thread start, she's positively giddy at the thought that Romney is about to try to buy the election.

I don't see how pugs can spin this any other way. Mittens told the lower & middle class to jump in the toilet and then Romney-Hood proceeded to take a sh123t all over the American people. Sure, that will most def. earn him votes. The lunacy has reached epic heights.

I want to beleive this with all my heart: I think Romney is handling the foriegn situation brillantly. Now, he need to let us know how he is going to address some of the other problems. No, don't give us all the answers, plus he doesn't have all the answers, but we do need to hear something from him.

This whole election turns on this simple premise: The GOP believes they can convince enough people to vote AGAINST their own self-interest to win.

You're not going to hear anything of substance from him. You're going to see the airwaves inundated with negative advertising. Not the same thing.

26% of Americans agree with you in the NBC/WSJ poll coming out today.
