NBC/Marist poll just released has Obama up by 8 in Iowa and 6 in Wisconsin, unchanged from before the debates. Looks like the bounce, if there ever was one with the goofy robo polls, has evaporated.
Even more dramatically, the surveys point to a substantial organizational edge for the Obama campaign in harvesting the support of voters casting ballots early in both states

Good poll for Obama but the Iowa one smells off according to the poll 1/3 of respondents have already voted. Do we have confirmation of that because that seems high.
I heard The Five today on Fox Radio and they were talking about the polls. Bob Beckel stated that "if the Gallup poll was correct then the election is over and Mitt Romney is the winner". He then went on to say that no challenger has ever been above 50% in Gallup and lost the election.
BTW, Bob Beckel is a staunch Democrat.
It would seem that the Barack Obama experiment is over.

Well supposedly PPP will release an Iowa poll that is much better for Romney than the NBC poll sometime tomorrow.
PPP is a robo poll. The robo polls are all questionable compared to traditional polls IMO. PPP is the best of the robos but the need to massage the results for cells and low participation rates makes them far less reliable than the Marist.

However, the official figures vary. As of Wednesday night, voters had cast ballots equal to 18% of the total number of votes cast in 2008. Some 140,631 Democrats have cast ballots, compared with the 86,249 Republicans.
