Today's polls mean nothing, do you remember 2006 maybe? I am sure you did vote for her and I am sure you would again,I think most of us realize this, but that is like saying "I voted for Romney and would again" this doesn't make him a winner. Polls today are based on name recognition and who has been in the news. That is all.

I don't think her age, in itself would hurt her, but she looks old, and like you mention, has had her health problems If she were to stay completely healthy from here out, that would be one thing, let any health issue arise and I think she would be the first to call it quits unless she was heavily into the campaign, if that were the case she would lose to a strong Republican candidate.

OMG, she is anything but popular with the Republicans, she is almost hated!!! Where did you get that information? She is extremely intelligent, yes.

I don't think Hillary can win. The Republicans want her to be the nominee. They think they can beat her. i agree. There are a lot of other good candidates out there. i hope Hillary gives it up.

Give up sounds too negative. I hope she moves on to something she loves. I keep thinking that Bill is putting her up to it, and Hillary just doesn't want it. She has proven to be a distinguished public servant. Why not enjoy her golden years without getting crucified by the political process?

Polls show that roughly two in three Americans view her favorably

Maybe they didn't ask the RWNJ's and FOX fanatics...

Default Clinton? What are the Dems smoking?

All this Hillary talk is way too premature. I'm not at all confident (as others seem to be) that she'll even be in the running in 3 years. Her stint as SecState has really worn her down. She'll be nearly 70 in 2016. And maybe a grandmother by then, as well. If so, she may wisely decide that she needs to spend her remaining energy on her family.

Agree...Its too early to handicap the 2016 race.

There is, I think, a nostalgia factor at play, too, as the "Clinton Era"
was a sort of good old days with a good economy and plenty of work....so she is basking in that glow of a time gone by, fondly remembered.

and you are on to something hardly anyone mentions: Bill being behind this...Hotair thinks she won't run, you do and I do,but I am not sure I agree with Hotair on whether the Republicans want her to run or not. Most of our Republican friends either are not involved yet or are more interested in who the Republicans run than who will he his/her opponent. I still do see, Hillary's health as a possible deterent to her running, if indeed, she ever had any idea of a repeat. Remember she and everyone saw her as a shoe in until Obama came along. Does she what to go through this again, 8 years older?

So an article written almost a year ago, with quotes from someone who works for the Brookings institute (a very liberal think tank) is supposed to be taken as the Gods truth. You are smart enough to know any sturdy, survey or poll can show anything by how it is presented. If you really think most Republicans adore her or even respect her, you are dead wrong. This isn't to say she was or was not a good sec of state, at least until 2/11/2012, but it doesn't mean she is loved...
