They don't, and quite properly. Which is why it seems way premature to me for Cruz to weigh in. I still don't get how this is a winning strategy for Cruz in particular or the Rs in general.

What messiah? I'm an atheist. Come to think of it, even if I weren't an atheist, I'd avoid messiahs at all costs.

Don't like being spied on because of your political views? Join the club. Hint - Obama didn't start it. I first became aware of it during the Nixon admin, because I was one of the people spied on. For my anti-war activities.

Lotsa bucks out there for those who can sound "sincere" speaking to the Palin/Limbaugh audience. Maybe a big payday at some "conservative think tank."

This slob is all about Cruz. He has no interest whatsoever in "public service." Wouldn't surprise me at all if he resigns his senate seat before his term ends.
OK, that meets the internal coherence criterion at least. I don't follow him much, but he claims to be a serious contender. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Think about that... He wouldn't weigh in unless he had been made privy to some pretty solid evidence that this is going to blow sky high.

So why would the Mississippi folks whose job it is to investigate voting irregularity share their ongoing investigation with Ted Cruz????

I *am* thinking about it. For starters, usually investigations are confidential until completed. Second, Cruz is not from Mississippi, so I am sure many Mississippians would strongly object to Cruz being in on the results of a Mississippi investigation before Mississipians themselves are. Frankly, what you say makes no sense at all.

There is a difference between rule of law and the constitution. Would you have respected the Fugitive Slave law or Prohibition?
