I'm curious to see if there is a difference in polling results when respondents have to identify themselves, and crossover trickery becomes more of a pain. Whom would you vote for in a GOP primary if the election were held today? This is going to be a public poll, so that if you're a liberal and vote for Trump or Bush, your vote can be readily discounted by readers.

Wow--telling liberals their votes won't count if they don't vote for the candidate you think they should.

Why bother with a poll at all if you are going to fix the results using your own--ahem--analysis? Who do you think you are--Katherine Harris?

Control freaks. I love it.

If you don't vote for a candidate the OP approves of then your vote doesn't count.

Typical liberal, shoving words into my mouth.

If you are not of conservative/libertarian bent and would never vote GOP in the general, then I'm not really interested in your vote in the primary.

Suppose I as a conservative voted for Bernie Sanders or Joe Biden just for the sake of knocking out Hillary Clinton. Would you want to count my vote in your caucus?

Folks, please look at John Kasich. He is probably the least known candidate, but such a great guy. His candidacy was hardly even mentioned, since he declared the day before Chris Christie.

No he didn't. He won't be declaring until July 21.
