But you acknowledge that this quote is true. He's said nothing about growing the private sector or private sector employment. Just gimme gimme gimme.
He is gaining momentum because he is giving voice to the angry frustration felt by the shrinking middle class at the hands of the oligarchy who rules this country right now. That's why his message resonates with the everyday American. When so much is held by so few, leaving the rest to scramble for crumbs, we have a right to be angry.
ole Burn thinks it's the role of the inept government (he has been part and parcel of ) to provide jobs, wages, career paths, education etc., and sadly so do the multitudes of his supporters.
Ol' Bernie promises a lot to the looters and takers. The parasites of society will love him. The productive class...not so much.
The productive class, who is working harder than ever but not seeing tangible results of their increased productivity because it is all being hoarded at the top, are the people who are supporting Bernie. The oligarchs are the true parasites on society, and their clueless followers can't see how by supporting them and keeping them in power, they are working against their own best interests.
