Trump would never be in the position he is and have the support if it were not for the Republicans in Office for the most part really letting us down.

Sad that their actions and lack thereof sowed the seeds themselves for it to happen.

I am actually an unaffiliated voter who has voted Democratic up through 2008, but I hope and intend to vote Republican in 2016, just as protest against the Democrats who have allowed this country to go to hell these past seven years! (I voted third party in 2012 because I disliked Romney as much as I did Obama -- my mistake.)

At this point, though -- I could very well change my mind -- I would vote for any Republican EXCEPT for Trump, Bush, Carson, Christie, Fiorina, or Santorum (all for entirely different reasons) -- and if one of those six is the Republican POTUS candidate, I would vote for the Democrat, even though I really dislike HRC.

P.S. I also would think twice about voting for Paul, even though I agree with him in many ways, because he comes across as a hothead, just like Trump does.

obviously you are not a Republican. Think of what you are saying. Do you think Chritie for instance is too hawkish? There is never going to be one candidate that will share all our views. Heck, even my husband and I differ on things, but certainly Trump is not likely to win the Presidency and I will just cry if Clinton does.

America has become a nation of crybabies, special snowflakes, con artists (conning themselves as well as others), eternal adolescents still rebelling against mommy and daddy while popping out babies of their own, and wimps.

That's the only reason why people don't love Trump -- who actually is a great human being and a tough leader who will save this country and the world.

Losers deserve to lose.

Unfortunately, nowadays they think they deserve to win.

And so they love and elect people like their loser selves.

Oh, well, it's kind of fun to watch -- in the way that it is kind of fun to watch disasters in general.

He has put more small construction contractors out of business by going bankrupt with failed projects.

Yes was good at conning bankers into believing his grandiose ideas on building projects and financing them.

Yes he is good by his own admission at donating to politicians to get favorable rezoning so he can build buildings and especially golf courses when the residents don't want them.

So when he becomes President are you OK with him bribing people with the public's money to get what he wants?

Fortunately the majority of voters who actually show up and vote know what a phony he really is and I doubt he will be the Republican nominee.

He is the Cliff Clavin of today's candidates.

Obviously you are not a businessman. Being a businessman entails wins and losses. Trump's casinos were not the only ones to go under and declare bankruptcy. The failure of the casinos can not be blamed on Trump but on the economy.

You sit here and talk about bribing but Dems / Repub in Washington alike do not do something for nothing. Most have millions in bank accts due to the favors they've accepted or that have been done for family members.

At least Trump admits he's greased a few palms. I'm not a Trump fan but given the choice of Hillary ( my party's candidate or Trump - I'll vote Trump.
