He's shown how much of a fraud he is with this endorsement. If Rubio was "all talk" (despite his record of accomplishment in Florida, etc.) during this campaign, then what has Trump been? He hasn't laid out many detailed plans at all, and instead has insulted and generalized his way to the top of the polls. Its even funnier that Christie endorsed a man whom he earlier stated didn't have the temperament to be president. Christie's still hurt that he couldn't surpass Rubio and is behaving like a child.

Default All That and 14 Electoral College Votes

Yep. and yep. and 14 Electoral College Votes. and all those NJ voters looking for direction.

Used to be that the 1st state governor that threw in for a candidate became that guy's V.P.

Quid Pro Quo?

Hard to say but what was it? Christie didn't do it for DIXIE.

My opinion, Trump is a captain of industry and his management style will be to point his cabinet toward a goal and let 'em loose. Trump knows what he doesn't know so I don't think he is going to micromanage.

Why would you post something like that LauraC? That's such a disgusting accusation. Either you are just posting stuff without reading it and pretending you remember the 2008 election when you don't or you are knowingly trying to deceive us.
I've heard this many times over the years about Bill Clinton. Lest we not forget, he's a Southern Democrat first and foremost. One who very clearly had no trouble attending a BBQ with Bush Sr. and none other than George Wallace.

i dont know where you get that. I guess you read the MEDIA reports instead of watching the debate.

i especially enjoyed this part:

. When Cruz ventured that Trump was losing to Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton in head-to-head polling, Trump parried that he was still doing better than Cruz.

"If I can't beat her, you're really going to get killed, aren't you?" Trump scoffed.

That shut down the loquacious Texan.

oh and the rubio story about polish alien workers? i googled it and it was 36 years ago. that's pretty sad. I also liked the part where he was just waiting to get the line where christie nailed rubio on the repetition, and trump hadn't even finished his sentence and rubio was excitedly going see. He had no contextual frame of reference for the line that he was so carefully waiting. He would get slaughtered in the general election debates.

We're going to see a lot more establishment politicians behind Trump after Tuesday. They have already begun turning their back on the powers that be. I can't say I blame them either. Supporting Trump now will put them in good positions and favor when Trump is President.

Or, make them look foolish when he's not.
