No, not really. To be an effective politician you have to be able to work with others who hold dissimilar viewpoints, and the whole idea is to be able to compromise. Trump and Cruz are not familiar with how that works, and that's why Cruz and other Teabaggers get votes, because they won't compromise and would rather shut down the government than work with Democrats. Trump is a narcissist who likes to bully those who disagree with him and takes everything personally (as if it is not obvious at this point, right?)
To think he would be effective as a President is sheer lunacy. This is turning into a William Hung season of politics for Republicans.
Well that disqualifies the majority of our career politicians including our current President. The bold sums up Obama and Hillary as well.
I agree with your summary of Trump.
He's a natural born U.S. citizen who is 35 years of age or older.
Don't forget about the money... the candidate has to be able to either raise the funds needed or pay for it from their own funds. Although that is not a constitutional requirement, ilack of money sure keeps most people from running for office.
However Obama hasn't severed ties with our allies. Trump has already burned international bridges.
Those allies will be singing his praises if he's elected. They are already starting their own tough talk and realized they've created a huge immigration / muslim mess in their own countries.
He's already alienated many of our international allies with his sexist and bigoted remarks.
But yeah, who needs the rest of the world anyway!!!
'Murica
We don't need any allies.
Get over this!!!!
We can take care of each other
