Hey now, that's not going to win over very many supporters.

edit: nevermind, they've already wasted their votes.

Technically, they didn't throw away their votes since they voted for the best candidate in their opinion. But I think what they lost, they can still find in other candidates. Romney is a warmonger, I suspect so are his supporters as during his concession speech, he mentioned WARS and got a huge applause. So I suspect that his supporters would cross over to McCain because is basically a democrat and a warmonger... they would probably vote for him because of his warmongering status, even though he is very liberal in opinion (immigration, spending, etc.)... so oh well... it seems america's leader and citizens like to create wars...its no wonder Bush was re-elected...

Most of their votes will still be used to his advantage where delegates are bound to the vote of the people. Not in all states, but in most.

That is pretty rude. If people who supported Romney were to not vote for him, who should they vote for? Huckabee whould have not taken their support anywhere. Ron Paul, no. If they only wanted to vote for the winning candidate, they could have voted for McCain and got the same outcome. They rallied around the candidate who they agreed with most. Romney had a little fight in him.

Well you see heres how it works, you are free to vote for who you want, if we all voted for the same person then we wouldn't need to vote at all, but then that would mean there was only one person running and that would be a dictator. You see not all people agree on the issues, if we did we would all be sheep, some of us see the big picture and some don't. if the person you vote for doesn't win then are you throwing your vote away? Nope and we can sleep with a clear conscience that we didn't follow the piper like a heard of sheep but we stood up for our beliefs
