So, are we talking about amnesty for illegals when comparing Ronald Reagan to Ted Cruz as I know that Ted Cruz wants to bring the illegals out of the shadows and for there to be "immigration reform". We do not need immigration reform!!!

You can see that he is a Conservative by how he is running his campaign. For instance in NH, he spent $18 per person. Jeb spent $1,200 per vote. Ted Cruz knows how to be effective and how to save money.

It was a phenomenal win in NH for a Conservative - beating out both Jeb and Rubio. Kaisch held 100 townhalls and spend over $200 per vote.

You are showing you have NO IDEA what is going on here and HOW the amendment process works. Let me enlighten you, if you will listen, which I have my strong doubts.

In this video Ted Cruz is introducing a "poison pill" amendment to OUT the Gang of 8 who only wanted Amnesty/citizen voters and not workers. The bills Ted offered DID NOT pass because they weren't designed to pass. They were designed to KILL the Gang of 8 which is what happened.

Jeff Sessions and Mike Lee have already been on record to defend Ted Cruz on this issue, stating that Ted Cruz has NEVER supported Amnesty.

You lose credibility with these types of unstudied posts.

Thanks for posting this video. You obviously fail to understand the context of Cruz' testimony. He is testifying as to why HIS POISON AMENDMENT should be adopted to the bill that the Gang of Eight was pushing. He was pointing out that they would still get everything they want in their bill if they included HIS Amendment, which included the following:

1.prohibit local, state and federal governments from doling out entitlement benefits to the millions living in the country illegally.

2. stronger border-security policies than those introduced last month by the Gang of Eight.

3. a 13-year path to citizenship for the estimated 11.2 million people living in the country illegally.

4. only begin, however, when certain border security measures are met, including a 90 percent effectiveness rate for deterring illegal entries, defined as “the number of apprehensions and turnbacks in a specific sector divided by the total number of illegal entries.”

5. mandate that the Department of Homeland Security triple the number of U.S. Border Patrol agents on the southwest border, and quadruple equipment, including cameras, drones and helicopters, during the same time frame.

6. The border security amendment also mandates that if the goals are not met within three years, the department’s budget will be slashed by 20 percent and that money would instead be diverted in the form of block grants to agencies in Texas, Arizona, New Mexico and Arizona for border security.

Can't lose what you don't have. I posted the same thing after seeing this. Talk about trying and failing to take something out of context.

No you need to listen. Cruz says he wants immigration inform and to bring the illegals out of the shadows. Are you saying he sat there and lied? Lying is a sin: What does the Bible say about lying? Is lying a sin? Now, I know that in Islam, it is considered OK to lie if it promotes your faith, is it the same for this cult that he belongs to?

I didn't realize that Cruz was lying. I thought he was a Christian. Are you saying he was lying? Did you listen to what he said?

The only one losing credibility in this thread is Cruz, the liar, the snake and those others claiming to be a Christian while not having a clue what that entails.

Either Ted Cruz was lying, which would not be characteristic of a practicing Christian.............

Ah, then we can look forward to multiple tax raises, an amnesty for millions of illegals, acting on advice from wife who is influenced by an astrologist, not paying attention or understanding most anything, selling arms to the Iranians to support rebels . . . did I forget anything else?

It's beyond me how Ronnie became a Republican Demigod in the last three decades when the aforesaid facts somehow faded away. You should be worshipping James Baker and Don Regan instead.

Reagan would have been impeached for the Iran contra guns for hostages if he hadn't lost his mind. I still can't understand the Saint hood placed on this feeble old man by the Republicans. It's just crazy. I guess that sums it up for the whole Republican Party.

Probably because he was the only conservative elected to the WH since Calvin Coolidge and most people on earth today were either not alive when he was President, or were too young to realize his impact on the country.
