Oh no, Obama is too far to the left to swing any independents or moderates. They'd go Juan McCain. They already are with Juan. Hillary would be nice to rally up the GOP to re-take Congress. Obama wouldn't be too bad either. No matter what happens in the presidential feild, the House is going back into GOP hands. Pelosi better kiss her little Speaker of the House hammer good-bye.

McCain is a right-winger?? How so??? He votes with Dems more than with GOP! He pushes for illegal alien amnesties, silences GOP free speech with McCain-Feingold, he is for gay marriage, he is anti-gun, he is against drilling for oil in ANWAR and helping struggling familes heat their homes and lower their pain of $3 gas.... he is for liberal judges.... Right-winger?!? you must be joking!

LOL Yeah, now the real conservatives are "Mavericks" because they are rallied up against McCain. What a joke.

That is an incredibly insightful point of view. The US is heading for the toilet, Hillary or Obama will make the situation into serious recession with Sopcialist economics, cause a world-wide recession and they will be blamed for it. The GOP will greatly benefit from it. Not to mention the DEms will let Al Quaeda take over Iraq, Iran to have nukes, Syria to attack Israel... it will be so bad, Jimmy Carter will be considered "awesome" compared to a 4-year run of a Hillary or Obama.

Oh come on. Unfair comparisson. Carter was THE worst president in US history. Now funny thing is that Obama is nothing more than the black version of Carter. Comapre their stances, they are the same. Specially when it comes to weaking America wo America "won't be hated overseas".

No way. McCain is LESS conservative than Hillary. Hillary will run a centrist administration, much like BIll did. McCain will run a left administration.

Every year I help make calls to turn out GOP candidates. During Bush v Kerry, I spent several days in the 100 degree heat helping to turn out people for Bush. This year, I am ONLY doing my "get out to vote" for Congress. I am actually telling voters to vote GOP on every step, but vote for Hillary and not McCain.

Because there are none. I actually think McCain is more liberal than Hillary on many issues.

Let Hillary take the blame for the mess the US is in. Then 2010, we will have an awesome conservative and will re-take the White House. Think long term, folks.

Oh that's funny. Is that what the fast food wingnuts said today?

...yeah, we'll all wait for the legislative details of why you think. I'm sure the entertainers on the AM dial gave all kinds of great details.

Either you are not informed, or you choose to lie. Which is it?

If you paid attention at all, in all of his years in the Senate, you would see how far to the right he. To make it easier for you, just look at his assinine PNAC foreign policy views.

silences GOP free speech with McCain-Feingold
Nobody is silenced. I know you are told to think that.

Quote:
he is for gay marriage
If you knew what Republicansim was - if you were one, you would not want the government to interfere in individuals' lives or would you want a theocracy.

Quote:
he is anti-gun
I have never heard him say that he wants to remove the Second Amendment (or anyone say that either).

Maybe some extreme organization told you otherwise.

Quote:
he is against drilling for oil in ANWAR
Wow, the cornerstone of conservatism, where to drill.

Quote:
and helping struggling familes heat their homes and lower their pain of $3 gas....
You got that right, every Republican wants to give our money to energy companies at the expense of people and every Republican (with except maybe Paul) supports ridiculous foreign policies that raise the price of oil, with the bonus of making us less secure and giving money to our enemies - all while refusing to seekout alternative energy so that we don't have to pay terrorists for it.

Quote:
he is for liberal judges....
Wow, another good one. Are you informed about anything? One thing? Come on, there has to be something you might know.

Quote:
Hillary or Obama will make the situation into serious recession with Sopcialist economics
We are well under our way into recession now under the leadership of incompetent righwingers. You can throw out empty rhetoric like "Sopcialist economics" all you want, but it only makes look even more uniformed.

Quote:
Not to mention the DEms will let Al Quaeda take over Iraq
President Fredo already did that when he took us there and then demonstrated the incompetent string of decisions possible.

Quote:
Carter was THE worst president in US history
Carter's years are much better than the incredibly corrupt, incompetent, and disasterous Bush years.

It will take decades to recover from his and the pathetic GOP Congress' actions.

...which explains why you don't like to think too much about policy or consequences of bad policies like those of President Fredo Bush.

Quote:

Good for you. You finally acknowledge how far down President Fredo took us domestically and in foreign policy and you admit, that you want a Democrat to take the blame.

Republicans are waking up to the fact that they are going to lose in November. The self hating amongst the GOP is incredible.

because republicans choose to disagree, that makes them self hating? that is an interesting observation in light of the fact that the democrats are just about evenly split on their candidate at this point.

The far right mouthpieces have it easier stirring up the dittoheads when they can attack Democrats than when they have to defend their own horribly flawed and underqualified incumbents. Another Clinton presidency would have them licking their chops.

Agreed 100%! Although McCain certainly has his faults, a win for him would still be better than a President Hillary Clinton or a President Obama ... both of whom would socialize our health care, increase the welfare state, push for more gun control, and give amnesty to illegals (more than McCain ever would).

These wingnuts in the GOP are throwing idiot fits about McCain because he isn't a Bible thumper or a bigot like the outspoken fringe wing of the party. If they truly want to elect another Republican President, they had better get over themselves & support McCain. If they keep acting like spoiled little kids & refuse to vote for him, they will certainly give the election to the Dems!

I find it rather amusing that the libs on the board poke into the rep party and give their wrongful thoughts about almost every issue when their own party is a mass chaos in itself.

Dear Libs, fix your own party before you come telling us what our problems are. We all got problems but its the lib party that is in total shambles.

I know, if you talk about the rep party it makes you feel better about yourself and your self destructive group of misfits.

When Obomba and Billary were scratching each other eyes out you all looked the other way but when we disagree with someone within our party you libs make it out like its the end of the world.

You can fix my party until you can fix your party ills. That may take years to get the lib party straightened up.

The only problem we have is one candidate who has leaned to the left some and we will take a stand, but if a looney lib steps out of line your party doesnt have the guts or the replacements to step up and fix the problem.

All you libs have to do is look in the mirror, your party is a disgrace and you need to stop trying to fix my party and go to work on why your congress has the worst rating in the history and have failed miserably at nearly everything they have done.

You party needs you, help them instead of trying to figure us out.

I'll go way out on a limb here and make a longterm prediction: you're going to be very unhappy in November.
