Certainly conservative talk radio wants a McCain vs. Clinton contest; it would rally the GOP base of conservatives no matter what. But a McCain vs. Obama contest is a little less attractive, to the extent that independents and liberal Republicans could swing in both directions. Moreover, Obama isn't as hated (much of which is unfair) as Clinton.
Oh no, Obama is too far to the left to swing any independents or moderates. They'd go Juan McCain. They already are with Juan. Hillary would be nice to rally up the GOP to re-take Congress. Obama wouldn't be too bad either. No matter what happens in the presidential feild, the House is going back into GOP hands. Pelosi better kiss her little Speaker of the House hammer good-bye.

Every year I help make calls to turn out GOP candidates. During Bush v Kerry, I spent several days in the 100 degree heat helping to turn out people for Bush. This year, I am ONLY doing my "get out to vote" for Congress. I am actually telling voters to vote GOP on every step, but vote for Hillary and not McCain.

Although McCain certainly has his faults, a win for him would still be better than a President Hillary Clinton or a President Obama ... both of whom would socialize our health care, increase the welfare state, push for more gun control, and give amnesty to illegals (more than McCain ever would).
