Well, there is GW Bush, who said that God told him to start the Iraq war.

I don't remember Carter pushing religion. I do remember him being religious, going to church, but not trying to impose his beliefs.

Just because he has a Jewish background doesn't make him religious.

Edit: The quote didn't show up, I was responding to someone saying that Bernie is Jewish.
