He describes himself as a "secular Jew", by which I assume he means Jewish by tradition and lineage but not involved in the practice of Judaism. His actions tend to support that stance.
I am guessing you are probably do not practice any religion which is fine. Many good people have no religious ties, but just because a President is religious does not mean he or she ties religion to government. I don't remember any President since I have been voting except maybe Carter that wore religion on their sleeve or tried to govern based on religious beliefs. Am I wrong?
Well, there is GW Bush, who said that God told him to start the Iraq war.
I don't remember Carter pushing religion. I do remember him being religious, going to church, but not trying to impose his beliefs.

EXACTLY.....I don't want to live under a Middle Eastern style government! Plus who wants a leader who perpetuates the ridiculous myth of a Sky-Daddy that everyday life proves is total nonsense.
I guess we can assume he won't be getting the evangelical vote?
I also wonder if he would get the Muslim vote?
