Right!

I agree with the OP about the other 3 though, and the omission of the the non-factor Kasich.

You are all underestimating the ability of the RNC to nominate someone else via the broken convention. You should add Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney to that list.
2020 is going to be even more fun. Kanye is running. I'm sure there will be more "Trump-like" candidates taking a chance ... Billionaires have so much money, what should they do with their amassed fortune?

You all make fun of Trump but it is his money he's spending - very little is coming from donations or superpacs who expect him to follow their lead so in that aspect - I admire him - but I don't think any of the candidates are actual presidential material.

Donald is the best of the bunch and by a high margin.

A beacon of corruption, a socialist and a maniac.

I'll take a business person any day.

Does that mean the government would then be run like a business, putting an end to our wasteful, costly, unnecessary wars of choice that give no benefit to the US?

Or does it mean we'd be inviting someone like Bernie Madoff into the game?

I love this country, can't believe it's coming down to this. What does our future hold when these are the choices WE pick?

Uncle Johnny, of blessed memory, used to say, "Every country ... eh, eh, eh ... is like a business."

Time was candidates and delegates came up through the party ranks. That way, there was vetting.

I can't explain how a womanizing Bill Clinton got passed everybody in Arkansas or why they sent him out on the world.

Now, any warlord with a source of funds can run and win. Looks to me like a gang war instead of an election.

Our local congressmen spend more time fundraising than minding the store.

We need a different way to finance elections and politicians.

And that way we only get two candidates with a viable chance of election. What's so great about that?

Coming up through the "ranks" just gives them the time to become more corrupt as the time passes. To make all those "alliances" that benefit themselves.

I don't consider the 4 candidates idiots.
