Being popular is not always a good sign. Standing for what one believes in and speaking your mind are not going to help one gain popularity among the ignorant and apathetic majority.
It's amazing how many people excuse his racist misogynist narcissism as "speaking his mind".
It's ok to be a hateful tool and run for president.

Trump doesn't speak his mind though--the man is one of the greatest wishy-washy flip-floppers of all-time. He says what he thinks people want to here and when it backfires spectacularly he changes positions in the blink of an eye.
Because he has not said anything racist. When asked for a racist quote, there is always silence.
So when he was president of the Trump Management Corporation he wasn't sued twice for racial discrimination by the Justice Department?
Or his comments about Native Americans in Connecticut who were uncooperative in wanting to let him build a casino never happened as well? Something along the lines of "they don't even look like Indians" and calling them "so called Indians".
He's defended violence against an African American and Latino at his rallies.
His continual accusations that Mexicans and other immigrants are rapists. Or that time he took out full page ads calling for severe punishment of men guilty of raping a woman in Central Park. The men accused were all African American, even after they were exonerated due to DNA evidence he continued to believe they were guilty.
But go ahead, excuse his racism like you excuse his misogyny. If there's a consistent theme among Trump supporters it's that they can't accept his words at face value. There will always be an excuse for what he's said or done.
We aren't telling ourselves anything. Poll after poll tells us how incredibly disliked he is by every, single demographic.
Right, and that's why he gets thousands at his rallies, while the others are lucky to break 300
I would say, stop looking at meaningless polls.
The man is extremely popular where ever he goes.
So you can't produce any quotes from him proving that he is racist. It thought so.
The quotes have been posted over and over again. How many times do people need to post the racist tweet with false statistics? 200 times, 1000 times? 1 million times? That poster knows better and it's good he/she is not wasting her time with people who are obviously gonna ignore her post.
Trump is only liked by some republicans. Most of the country dislikes him. The more he speaks, the higher his unfavorable ratings go. 70% of the country is a LOT of people and the clock is ticking...

You didn't ask me but here's a link to 9 racist things he's done including getting sued for not renting to blacks, failing to disown the KKK for several days after their endorsement, condoning the beating of a Black Lives Matter protester and he's a huge Birther.
