“It’s a common mistake that people who don’t really understand economics make that this would somehow be a tariff on exporters,” said Mark J. Perry, a professor at the University of Michigan at Flint and a scholar at the conservative American Enterprise Institute. “It would be actually be a tax on American consumers. And more than half of U.S. imports come in as raw materials. And those cheap imports benefit American companies that hire American workers to finish the production process. Trump is really harkening back to the outdated mercantilist positions of hundreds of years ago.”
Donald Trump 2016 economic agenda: Economists savage Trump's economic agenda - POLITICO

I just don't understand how anyone could vote for this guy. Outside of his rants and big bolsterist talk are vague policies that will destroy the country in a few short years. His brand of nationalism is very similar to that of the Dear Leader's of North Korea who have completely destroyed their country. As South Korea has thrived, North Korea is a flaming pile of poo.

Well, first of all, we aren't "single" issue or "social" issues voters and are able to look, therefore, at the big picture which Trump has laid out before us. It is really quite simple if you have the "tools" to understand his policies on the issues.

Maybe it isn't us, since there are so many coming from ALL demographics that support Trump, but those that pick out a single issue, search for a liberal article post it and insult the Trump supporters who really aren't getting it and just refuse to look at the reality.

I trust Trump. Hillary is a proven liability and the Dems will make sure that Sanders cannot win even if they have to just flip the two-headed coin at the convention, Hillary, of course, choosing "heads" under "ladies first" of which we all know she isn't!

If ever there was a perfect illustration of low information voters, the Trump cult is it.
Can you shuffle these words around and repost later like the anti-Trump folks always do ?

Actually no ... all the Trump followers on the board are too busy stomping the sour grapes on this board who think wine is spelled whine.

Exactly! A person with a brain realizes that deporting 11 MILLION people is impossible. It currently takes 18 MONTHS for an illegal who's caught to see a judge and be sent back to his home country. You dont just throw them in a bus, drive to the border and drop them off. Not all come from Mexico anyways. You would need to hire thousands of officers to go after them and hundreds of judges to order them back. Who pays to assemble that team and pay the hours? Who pays for the judges? who pays for the thousands of facilities you need to build to house them as they wait for a year to see a judge? who pays for them to stay in that facility for a year? etc...You are talking many BILLIONS of dollars. Only the biggest fool would hear someone say something as ridiculous as they are going to deport 11 million people and not question how.

Just a reminder that Donald's economic policies are made up fairy tales of bankruptcy. Oh, but we can just print more money, I forgot.
